Creative Launch Programme

MAKE VALUABLE CONNECTIONS WITH PUBLISHERS AND AGENTS, SECURE COMMISSIONS & REPRESENTATION
cactus.JPG

A one year programme that combines portfolio development with agency representation. You can also work directly with your own clients and will be represented at the major book fairs.

Launching a creative career without contacts and connections can be incredibly challenging and disheartening. The creative industries rely heavily on networks and relationships, making it difficult for newcomers to break in and it is almost impossible to get your foot in the door.

Without established connections, it can be tough to get your work seen by the right people and secure opportunities.

The lack of contacts can lead to isolation and missed chances, as many opportunities are often passed along through word-of-mouth or personal recommendations.

It can be incredibly disheartening, especially when you feel like giving up despite trying your best. This can make the initial steps of a creative career feel like an uphill battle, where talent alone is not enough to gain traction.

With my experience and connections, I can significantly ease the challenges of launching your creative career. Having navigated the industry myself, I understand the hurdles of breaking in without the right network.

Over the years, I’ve helped numerous illustrators break into the industry, secure projects and agency representation and make valuable connections that have propelled their careers forward.

Through my creative launch programme, I can offer you access to valuable industry contacts, introduce you to potential collaborators

clients, publishers and agents and provide insights that come from years of experience in the field.

My goal is to not only help you develop your skills but

also to connect you with the network that will support and amplify

your creative career.

Anastasia Yustus came through the mentorship programme to develop her portfolio and went on to take the one-year Creative Launch programme, during which I supported her in securing the book Wolkenfreund with the publisher Weltentdecker. Soon after the completion of the book, she was offered representation by The Bright Agency, which is a very positive outcome both for her as an illustrator and for me as her mentor, as it was always her dream to be represented by such a brilliant, well known illustration agency.
